FutureTech e-Learning Launched on the LSIS Excellence Gateway

This week saw NEF launch FutureTech, a new set of CPD materials developed by the foundation, designed to update teaching and learning professionals on new and emerging technologies. This e-Learning material has been made available free of charge to lecturers in STEM education sector through the LSIS Excellence Gateway. It provides insight into the intriguing and complicated worlds of Nanotechnology, Nuclear Energy, Renewables, Composites and Biomedical Engineering.

With an introduction from NEF Trustee Maggie Philbin, of Tomorrow’s World fame, the programme aims to update knowledge and assist in new curriculum development. The e-Induction packs included on the site contain a great deal of information for the STEM sector, with varied content including links, videos and case studies to bring the subjects alive. You can access these resources online here.
