The STEM Assured® standard provides an integrated approach to benchmarking and validating the quality of STEM provision by a college, academy or school. The process includes an independent visiting panel that assesses the overall strategic commitment to the STEM provision, interviews staff, students and local employers. Industry leaders also contribute to the assessment process.
Around 5000 of the college’s 8000 students are on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) programmes.
