IKE Institute and STEM Foundation - How we're responding to Coronavirus to ensure business as usual continues

In line with the Government’s directive during this current Covid-19 crisis, the IKE Institute and the STEM Foundation Boards have agreed the following steps to minimise the impact of the virus on our staff, members, customers and the public. This will be implemented with immediate effect until 30 June 2020.

CERTIFIED INNOVATION TRAINING PROGRAMMES

  • All our training programmes will be delivered over our Zoom videoconferencing platform. Yourt smartphone headsets (mic and headphones) will be the only equipment required.
  • Participants will be provided with Course Materials in electronic format.
  • The delivery on Zoom will be live to enable real-time interactions and questions and answers from participants and instructors.
  • Participants may be required to complete an initial questionnaire upfront before commencement of the training to enable us to identify areas of focus during the course delivery.

BENCHMARKING, ACCREDITATION AND CERTIFICATION PROGRAMMES AND SERVICES

All programmes will continue to be delivered as normal with the exception of attending site visits. These programmes are:

All site visits that are part of the accreditation and certification process of these programmes will now be conducted via Zoom, with documentation provided up front from the applying organisation, as appropriate. Guidelines on what this documentation should be will be provided to the applying organisation accordingly.

Visual evidence to support your application in the form of videos, presentations, photos and podcasts will be accepted.

CERTIFICATES

All certificates for any of the programmes will be sent in both electronic form and will also be posted out at a later date.

BRITE INNOVATION JOURNAL

The popular BRITE Innovation Review will continue quarterly as normal, and our Editor Susanne Hauner is happy to receive your articles as usual.

MEMBERSHIP

Applications for membership to IKE Institute are still being processed as normal. Membership Certificates will be sent in electronic form and will subsequently be posted out at a later date.

OTHER EVENTS

All our other events, such as seminars, workshops and meetings will be conducted via Zoom, and all participants will be provided, in advance, secure login details to attend.
