UCS Confers STEM Professorship On NEF’s CEO

In recognition of Sa’ad Medhat’s commitment to STEM education in further and higher education, University Campus Suffolk (UCS) conferred upon Sa’ad Medhat a Visiting Professorship in STEM Education. UCS is a new kind of institution. It uses a hub-based approach, and is formed from a partnership between University of Essex and University of East Anglia, and a network of colleges in the Suffolk region to provide an exciting range of research and higher and further education provision.

Prof Medhat said: “It is an honour to become a Visiting Professor to UCS. It will help to create a stronger connection for our STEM innovation work between HE and FE in the East Anglia region. This innovative partnership concept that brings together so well HE and FE, might provide the blue print for future developments in the UK and beyond.”
