NEF plans new Pharmaceutical Masterclass for 2012
Following a meeting between Professor Medhat, NEF CEO and Graham Ruecroft, Prosonix co-founder, it has been agreed that Prosonix will partner with NEF to deliver a Masterclass to cover applied science and technology innovation in the area of pharmaceuticals.
The Masterclass offers FE and Sixth Form lecturers a unique opportunity to visit Prosonix, an inspiring start-up at the cutting edge of developments in ultrasonic particle engineering at the Oxford Science Park. Participants will learn about entrepreneurship and business innovation, while experiencing first-hand the industrial value of multidisciplinary STEM knowledge in a company where scientists, laboratory technicians and engineers work side-by-side to develop and deliver world class innovations in ultrasonic crystallization and particle engineering.
Started in 2006, Prosonix is a world leader in the commercialisation of proprietary pharmaceutical ultrasonic engineering technologies and added value ultrasonic chemistry solutions. Their work focuses on the large and fast-growing market sectors of asthma and COPD and combines their leading particle engineering developments on a range of currently marketed products.
