UK Nuclear Skills Awards
The celebratory event will take place on the 10th of March in Manchester and will gather representatives from high-profile organisations operating in the Nuclear field. The organisers, The National Skills Academy Nuclear and Cogent Sector Skills Council will present prestigious awards in the following nominations:
- Regional Nuclear Apprentice of the Year
- National Nuclear Apprentice of the Year
- Scottish Nuclear HND Student of the Year
- Nuclear Foundation Degree Student of the Year
- Nuclear Bursary Award
- Student of the Year
- Outstanding Leadership in Skills Award
NEF's Sa'ad Medhat, Michelle Medhat and Yana Lapitskaya will travel to Manchester on this occasion to join EDF, Areva, Energy Solutions and other sponsors.
Background information: in 2010 NEF and NSAN have jointly developed an industry-specific standard - NEF Assured Nuclear - for assuring deliverers of in-house training in the nuclear sector.
