Innovation Awards launched
The Institute of Innovation and Knowledge Exchange is delighted to be launching a new set of Awards in Innovation.To be presented at a London ceremony in December 2012, the awards will mark achievements in Innovation across business, policy and education. In total there are eight categories. CEO Professor Sa’ad Medhat commented:
“The IKE Innovation Awards are an opportunity for individuals and organisations to celebrate their innovation and gain recognition for the role they play in inspiring others. The awards will draw attention to the value of innovation and are intended both to reward achievement and to spark further innovation across education, government and industry over coming years.”
Applications for the IKE Awards close on Weds 31 October. The categories are:
Business
- Most inspiring innovation leader (individual award)
- Most innovative business process (organisational award)
- Innovator of the year (individual award)
Education and Training
- Best example of innovation in a final year STEM-related degree project (individual award)
- Innovative apprentice of the year (individual award)
- Best example of innovation in a STEM course or training programme (organisational award)
Policy
- Best example of voluntary sector innovation award (organisational award)
- Best example of government policy enabling innovation (organisational award)
