NEF Achieves Matrix Accreditation

We decided that we needed to formally accredit the way in which we work and provide information to all our stakeholders, and so we underwent the Matrix Standard assessment for accreditation. Following a three-day assessment of all our programmes and processes related to information, advice and guidance, NEF made the grade and passed with flying colours!

The Matrix Standard is a nationally recognised quality framework for the effective delivery of information, advice and guidance to clients and partners. It is seen by many government and funding bodies as a pre-requisite quality standard.

Both clients and partners were interviewed, including representatives from colleges, industry, government departments and agencies, sponsors, and indeed, individual participants in our programmes such as the Industrial Fellowship Scheme, Masterclasses, and the Knowledge and Technology Transfer Nodes.

All at NEF feel that gaining the Matrix Standard accreditation is yet another very positive endorsement of the work that we do.

As a relatively small and new organisation, we know that this is the beginning of our learning journey, but we hope that you will be with us to contribute more ideas and to ensure continuous improvement and innovation is embedded in everything we do.

Thank you for your support and we look forward to working with our stakeholders over the coming years.
